We count on local products.
These include organic eggs from the Marginterhof in the valley Pflersch, bread from the Pardeller bakery in Sterzing, vegetables from the Zössmayr family in Mareit, trout from the fish farm in the valley Passeier, organic butter and dairy products from the dairy farm in Sterzing, mushrooms from our forests during summer, herbs from our own herb garden, Alpine honey from Ratschings, homemade apricot jam from our farm and much more.

Built with the strength of nature
Nature was already the focus of the construction of the Tenne Lodges and the Tenne Chalets. Wood from South Tyrol, especially thousands of shingles. Silver quartzite from the valley Pfitsch built into the walls, in the wine cellar, in the whirlpool. A private spring with refreshing mountain water. Based on the criteria of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council we received a sustainability label in 2024. It derives from our efforts to use renewable energies, to reduce our consumption of valuable ressources and to avoid creating waste. We encourage our guests to follow our lead.

Drinking Water Refill Points in Ratschings
Refill Map South Tyrol
Almost all of South Tyrol is blessed with excellent drinking water quality. The municipality of Ratschings – like many other South Tyrolean municipalities – has now published official drinking water refill points where residents and visitors can refill their bottles while walking or hiking.
Currently listed refill points include:
- Stange: Village fountain in front of the municipal building and in the sports area
- Ridnaun: Village fountain at the Widum in the village
- Ratschings: Village fountain at the community center and at the Unterdorf playground
- Mareit: Village fountain in front of the church
- Jaufental: Village fountain at the Widum
- Gasteig: At the entrance from the main road into Schulwegstraße and at Haus Bellandi (entrance to Jaufental)
- Telfes: Village fountain in Obertelfes at the “Plumpf”, in Untertelfes at the parking area, and at the junction of Telferweg/Mareit
