Accessibility Statement
1. Introduction
Tenne Lodges & Chalets is committed to making its website and mobile applications accessible in accordance with the national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies, as well as the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882).
The legal basis in Italy includes, in particular, Law No. 4 of January 9, 2004 (commonly known as the "Stanca Law") and Legislative Decree No. 82/2022, which transposes the European Accessibility Act and becomes mandatory for large parts of the private sector from 28 June 2025.
This accessibility statement applies to the website: www.tenne-suedtirol.com
2. Accessibility Status
This website is partially accessible, as not all requirements are fully met.
3. Non-accessible Content
Despite our efforts, it is currently not possible to provide certain content in a fully accessible manner. This includes, in particular:
- Older PDF documents, office files, and videos published before the deadlines outlined in Directive (EU) 2016/2102. These documents and media may contain inadequate structuring, missing alternative texts, or lack accessible features such as subtitles or audio descriptions.
- Complex or older content that cannot be quickly adapted due to technical or resource limitations.
- Form elements (e.g., a text field, checkbox, or dropdown menu) that have no visible or programmatically associated label, but use a title attribute instead.
- Elements on the page that appear to be headings (e.g., due to large font, bold style, or position), but are not actual headings in HTML (i.e., not using <h1> to <h6> elements).
- Two or more links that point to the same destination (URL) and appear next to each other but have different content or descriptions – or, conversely, identical link text leading to different destinations.
- An event handler is used in the HTML that responds only to specific devices or input types – for example, mouse-only, but not keyboard or touch.
We are continuously working to address these barriers.
4. Creation and Review of this Statement
This statement was created/modified on 24.06.2025.
Review methodology: Self-assessment (internal tests with various browsers and keyboard navigation) as well as partially automated tests using tools like WAVE or Lighthouse.
